A doctor at a leading London hospital has recorded a video diary detailing the pressures of his job within the NHS as new strikes are launched.
 Dr Philip Kelly, a consultant general physician, and says that pressures have increased over the last few years.
In an update during his shift, he reveals how half of his patients - some on drips and infusions - are being seen in chairs.
"It's funny how we become ever so slightly sadly desensitised to it," Dr Kelly says.
Senior NHS doctors staged a 48-hour walkout on Thursday (24 August).
The British Medical Association announced a fresh strike between 2 and 4 October in an ongoing pay dispute.
