King Charles smiles and waves as he is greeted by cheers from the public on his return to royal duties amid ongoing cancer treatment. Charles, joined by Queen Camilla, arrived at University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in London to meet medical staff and patients on Tuesday (30 April). The King’s visit aims to raise awareness of the importance of early cancer diagnosis and highlight some of the innovative research, supported by Cancer Research UK, taking place at the hospital. The monarch has also been named as the new patron of Cancer Research UK.
