Actor David Morrissey has backed The Independent’s Brick by Brick campaign to help those fleeing domestic abuse. Morrissey, a Refuge ambassador, told The Independent: “If you have three kids, a teenage son, or even a pet, some of these refuge spaces will not be available to you. But in this house the Brick by Brick campaign is aiming to build, you can have your own space and there will be no restrictions on you.” He continued, “Having this type of safe space available at the drop of a hat is a lifesaver and a lifechanger.” Please donate now to the Brick by Brick campaign, launched by The Independent and charity Refuge, to help raise £300,000 to build a safe space for women where they can escape domestic abuse, rebuild their lives and make new futures.
