The final moments of a mother starved and tortured to death have been shared by police as detectives revealed how they caught her three killers. Shakira Spencer, 35, was subjected to a prolonged campaign of beatings, enslavement, coercion and control, humiliation and degradation over several months This culminated in a frenzied, violent assault reaching a climax between 9 and 12 September 2022, from which Ms Spencer most likely died on 14 September 2022. Ashana Studholme, 39, of Harrow; Shaun Pendlebury, 26, of Ealing, and Lisa Richardson, 45, of Ealing, were found guilty of Ms Spencer’s murder. All three were jailed for life on 1 March. They will each serve a minimum of 34 years.
