ITV have been accused of “bias” by viewers after Good Morning Britain presenter Ed Balls interviewed his government minister wife Yvette Cooper on Monday 5 August. Mr Balls said he had “genuine questions” for the home secretary, as he interviewed her on live television about the scenes of violent disorder around the country, having barely seen her “in the last week.” The pair have been married for more than 25 years. Clips of the interview have since been shared online, with some viewers accusing ITV of “bias” with their “baffling decision”. The Independent has contacted ITV for comment.
